This is the quintessential Kerala experience, perfectly balanced to showcase the three major landscapes of the state: the cool tea plantations of Munnar, the spice gardens and wildlife of Thekkady, and the serene houseboat cruise on the Alleppey backwaters, starting and ending in Cochin.
Tour Itinerary
Drive to Munnar (Pick-up Cochin). Visit Cheeyappara & Valara Waterfalls, tea plantations, and spice gardens en route. Check in and rest.
Full day tour: Eravikulam National Park (home of the Nilgiri Tahr), Tea Museum (Closed Mondays). Post-lunch: Mattuppetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, and Pothamedu viewpoint.
Morning drive to Thekkady (3-4 hrs). Check-in. Afternoon: Boating in Periyar Lake for wildlife viewing at the Sanctuary. Evening: Optional activities like Kathakali, Elephant ride/bath, or Ayurveda massages.
Drive to Alleppey. Check-in to Houseboat/Backwater Resort at 12 Noon. Enjoy the backwater cruise with lunch, tea, and dinner served onboard. Boat anchors overnight.
